1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to UNSTYLERS HUB LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the online tattoo course available at this website.
Contact: unstylers.support@gmail.com
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the course:
- Purchase information: name, email address, and billing details collected at checkout. Payment card data is processed directly by our payment processor — we do not store it.
- Account information: email and password used to access the course platform.
- Communications: messages you send us by email or through support channels.
- Usage data: lesson progress, assignment submissions, and platform activity, used to manage your access and support your learning.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process your purchase and grant course access.
- To send order confirmations and important account notices.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To improve the course and platform based on aggregated usage patterns.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Course platform — Thinkific: Course content, your account, lesson progress, and assignment submissions are hosted on Thinkific (operated by Thinkific Labs Inc., Canada). Your account data is stored by Thinkific subject to Thinkific's Privacy Policy.
Transactional email — Thinkific Email: Order confirmations, course-access notifications, assignment-feedback alerts, and other transactional emails related to your account are sent through Thinkific's built-in email service, governed by the same Thinkific Privacy Policy linked above.
Payment processor — Stripe: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (USA) via Thinkific's checkout. Your payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction and your billing email.
Website hosting — Netlify: The unstylers.com website is hosted on Netlify (operated by Netlify, Inc., USA). When you visit the site, your IP address and basic request metadata are processed by Netlify's edge servers to deliver the page. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts: This website loads display fonts from Google Fonts (operated by Google LLC, USA). When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and basic request headers. This transfer is necessary for the technical rendering of the page; we do not use Google Fonts for analytics or advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
5. Analytics and Advertising Technologies
With your consent, we use the following analytics and advertising technologies on this website. None of them load before you accept them via the cookie banner — until you do, we do not collect analytics or advertising data on you.
Google Tag Manager (operated by Google LLC, USA) is a tag-management container we use to load the analytics and advertising tools listed below. GTM itself does not set tracking cookies; it loads other tools based on your consent choice. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC, USA) measures website traffic and user behavior in aggregate. We use it to understand which pages and content perform best so we can improve the course. GA4 may set cookies and collect your IP address, device information, and pages visited. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics opt-out.
TikTok Pixel (operated by TikTok Ltd. and affiliates) measures the performance of our advertising on TikTok and helps us reach artists who have visited the site. It may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser information, pages visited, and actions taken on the site. See TikTok's Privacy Policy and TikTok's ad-personalization controls in your TikTok account settings.
We do not currently use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Hotjar, or any other tracking technology not listed above. If we add new tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and ask for your consent again where required.
6. Cookies and Your Choices
Cookies on this site fall into three categories:
- Essential cookies — store your consent choice and language preference. Required for the site to function. Always active.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and behavior. Loaded only after your consent.
- Marketing cookies — set by TikTok Pixel (and any future advertising tools) to measure ad performance and personalize ads. Loaded only after your consent.
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings, which will reset your consent choice and show you the banner again on your next visit.
To comply with EU and UK requirements, we use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising tags do not load until you grant consent. If you decline, no tracking cookies are set.
7. Student Work and Marketing Use
Photos and videos of your assignments and completed work ("Student Work") are stored on Thinkific as part of the course. We may use Student Work in our marketing materials (website, social media, advertising, case studies, educational examples) only in anonymized form — showing the work itself without your name, face, voice, contact details, social media handles, links to your profiles, or any other information that could identify you personally.
We will never use your name, likeness, photograph of you, voice, social media handles, links to your accounts, or any other personally identifying details for marketing without your separate, prior, written consent — requested by email on a case-by-case basis. You are free to decline any such request; declining does not affect your access to the course.
You may opt out of anonymized marketing use of your Student Work at any time by emailing unstylers.support@gmail.com. Opt-out applies going forward and does not require us to recall materials already distributed before the opt-out request. See also our Terms of Service, Section 6.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account and course-progress data for as long as your account is active. After account closure or deletion, we retain purchase and financial records for up to 7 years as required by applicable U.S. tax and financial record-keeping obligations. Student Work is removed from the platform within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is necessary to defend legal claims. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 10).
9. International Data Transfers
UNSTYLERS HUB LLC is based in the United States. Several of our service providers are also located in, or transfer data to, the United States or Canada (Thinkific — Canada; Stripe, Netlify, and Google — United States). If you access the course from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Latin America, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in these countries.
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent UK and Swiss safeguards as incorporated into our service providers' Data Processing Agreements. Where a service provider is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, we additionally rely on that adequacy decision.
